Content Manager
Digitail is transforming the veterinary profession with innovative, customer-focused technology. We're building the leading all-in-one operating system for animal hospitals, empowering veterinary teams to seamlessly manage client communication, patient data, medical records, scheduling, and billing — all in one place.
Fresh off our $23M Series B funding led by Five Elms Capital, we're entering an exciting new phase of growth — scaling our brand, deepening customer engagement, and expanding across North America.
We're looking for a Content Manager who is, above all, a phenomenal editor and a genuine social media guru. Someone who can take raw, messy footage and cut it into something that stops the scroll — with an eye for pacing, timing, and the small edit choices that separate "fine" from "great." Someone who knows exactly why a video performed at 10x on Instagram but flopped on LinkedIn, and who treats the algorithm like a puzzle to solve, not a wall to post into.
This is a content-creation-forward role, and editing is the core craft. You will be in the edit bay as much as you're in the comments and on the posts, building the audience with content that feels clever, sharp, and unmistakably native to each platform. If you get a rush from turning a rough clip into something that breaks through, and you can channel that instinct into a B2B brand in a space you're excited about, this role is for you.
You'll also carry a written and long-form content component — newsletters, case studies, and webinars — though this is a supporting part of the role, not the focus. You won't be starting from a blank page: Digitail equips this role with a library of Claude AI skills built specifically to accelerate this kind of writing, so you can turn a customer interview or webinar recording into a polished case study or newsletter draft quickly, without it pulling you away from the core video and social work.
What You'll Do
Social Content Creation
Own Digitail's social presence across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn, creating content that is genuinely platform-native, not repurposed across channels as an afterthought.
Produce short-form video that earns attention: reels, YouTube Shorts, and behind-the-scenes clinic content that makes veterinary teams stop and watch.
Bring light animation, motion graphics, and visual creativity to content where still images aren't enough.
Film, edit, and publish independently using tools like CapCut, Descript, Canva, or similar — no waiting for a production team to make things happen.
Interview veterinarians, practice managers, and clinic staff to capture authentic stories that translate into social moments.
Channel Oversight
Develop and manage a content calendar that balances product education, customer stories, humor, and thought leadership — in the right ratio for each platform.
Track performance metrics: reach, engagement, saves, shares, follower growth, and what actually correlates to pipeline.
Experiment with new formats, hooks, and trends. Test constantly. Kill what does not work. Double down on what does.
Repurpose long-form content — podcast episodes, webinars, case studies — into snackable, platform-native formats.
On-the-Ground Capture
Travel to veterinary conferences, trade shows, and customer clinics to film on-location content: walkthroughs, reactions, event highlights, candid moments.
Partner with the events and customer success teams to make sure Digitail shows up at every touchpoint with content worth sharing.
Written & Long-Form Content (supporting, not the focus)
Write customer case studies and contribute to the prospect newsletter, using Digitail's Claude AI skill library to move from raw notes or interviews to a polished draft quickly.
Support the planning and production of webinars, including promotion and repurposing the recording into social and written content afterward.
Lean on AI tools (Claude, GPT, or similar) as a standing part of your workflow so the written component of the role stays efficient and doesn't compete with your time in the edit bay.
What You'll Bring
Elite, hands-on video editing chops — you can take raw footage and cut a genuinely great short-form video without hand-holding, and you obsess over the details (pacing, sound design, captions, the cut that makes a joke land) that make content feel polished rather than just posted.
Real social media savvy: a sharp, clever instinct for platforms — you can point to specific posts, videos, or campaigns you made that grew an audience or drove real engagement, and you know exactly why a piece of content worked or didn't.
Fluency in how Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn each work differently, and the instinct to create natively — and cleverly — for each one.
Some experience with motion graphics, basic animation, or visual design is a genuine plus.
Strong, witty writing instincts for captions, hooks, CTAs, and community responses — you know what sounds human, what's actually funny, and what sounds like a press release.
Comfortable turning that same writing instinct toward longer-form pieces like case studies and newsletters, and genuinely AI-forward — proficient with Claude, GPT, or another LLM as part of your everyday workflow, not just aware they exist.
Comfort being a self-starter: you manage your own calendar, hit your own deadlines, and do not need to be told what to post today.
Willingness to travel across North America (10–20%) to capture live content at events and customer sites.
Bonus: experience in healthcare, pet care, or any mission-driven consumer or B2B brand.
