About the role

Fable’s Community includes people with vision, mobility, and cognitive accessibility needs who use screen readers, screen magnifiers, alternative navigation, braille displays, and other accommodations to navigate the digital world.

As the Community Recruitment Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day execution of the Community recruitment pipeline, including hiring and onboarding at Fable. In this role, you will help identify candidates who match current hiring needs, guide them through the hiring process, and support new Community members as they get started.

You will work closely with internal team members and external partners to coordinate interviews, manage recruitment and referral tracking, and help keep hiring and onboarding activities organized and running smoothly. This is an execution-focused role for someone who is highly organized, communicates clearly, and is comfortable managing detailed processes in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Community talent pipeline, including reviewing applicants and identifying candidates that match current hiring needs
  • Coordinate the hiring process from application to onboarding, including moving candidates through stages, communicating next steps, scheduling interviews, and supporting the onboarding of successful candidates
  • Conduct interviews with applicants to assess role fit and technical proficiency using established interview processes and evaluation criteria
  • Support onboarding of new Community members, including communication and follow-up to ensure all steps and documentation are completed
  • Track referrals and partnership activities to help keep recruitment data organized and up to date
  • Support the identification and coordination of external recruitment partnerships to help grow the Community talent pipeline

Requirements

Key qualifications and assets

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear, professional, and empathetic written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow established processes, and keep records and tracking up to date
  • Comfortable coordinating hiring and onboarding activities in a remote work environment
  • Comfortable conducting structured interviews using established processes and evaluation criteria
  • Experience with recruitment, onboarding, partnerships, coordination, or other process-driven administrative work is an asset
  • Experience using documentation and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365) to manage data and day-to-day work
  • CRM experience is an asset
  • Familiarity with disability, accessibility, assistive technology, or community-based work is a strong asset

Pay range

$50,000 – $65,000 The salary band is designed to reflect the range of skills and experience needed for the position and is subject to change. The final salary is based on relevant skills, experience, and internal equity. This posting reflects an existing vacancy.
