Join A Dynamic Firm and Shape AI Product Strategy

Five Elms Capital’s Value Creation team is seeking an AI Product Manager to help our 45+ B2B SaaS portfolio companies evolve their products from traditional systems of record into AI-native platforms. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, commercial prioritization, and Value Creation. You will work with product leaders to ensure AI initiatives are directly tied to revenue growth, customer value, and exit readiness.

You Will Have a Broad Set of Responsibilities

Roadmap Planning. Partner with portfolio product leaders to identify the highest-impact AI opportunities. Help teams move from concept → roadmap → shipped product. Work with product and engineering teams to turn AI strategy into execution plans.

Turn Insights into Execution. Continuously refine AIM scoring models based on observed outcomes. Translate ambiguity into clear product direction and actionable decisions. Help teams prioritize AI initiatives, and ensure they’re measurable.

Commercialization. Ensure AI investments translate into measurable business value and improved exit positioning.

Is Five Elms Right for You?

  • 5-7 years of experience in product management or product strategy in SaaS.
  • Strong ability to connect product decisions to commercial outcomes.
  • Deep curiosity about AI with practical judgment. You stay current on rapidly evolving tools and applications, distinguishing between real opportunities and hype.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to quickly understand complex products.
  • Executive presence and confidence facilitating discussions with senior leaders.
  • Strong project management and hands-on execution instincts.
  • Consulting or multi-company advisory experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Flexible to travel for portfolio meetings.
  • Must be in Kansas City or want to relocate to KC.
