Partnership Program Manager

FMX is pioneering a Partnership Program from the ground up. This is new territory for the organization, and FMX is looking for a Partnership Program Manager with proven experience building and scaling integration partner programs to serve as the internal subject matter expert and establish a repeatable, high-quality partnership motion.
Responsibilities
As a Partnership Program Manager you will:
- Lead scoping calls with customers and prospects to understand workflows, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Review partner API documentation and align with Engineering to assess feasibility, effort, risks, and dependencies.
- Make the call on whether a customer-sourced integration is strategically viable enough for FMX to build and support.
- Pursue formal partnership steps with the vendor when appropriate.
- Drive scope alignment and secure formal agreement via an SOW.
- Coordinate delivery and testing with Engineering and the requesting customer.
- Build and run a formal inbound partner intake process.
- Define and maintain requirements for being considered an official FMX partner.
- Lead partnership formation activities and document agreements and expectations.
- Own ongoing partner relationship management, including partner profiles and engagement history in a partner relationship management (PRM) or CRM system.
- Coordinate partner testing readiness by ensuring the partner has the environments, documentation, and support needed to test the integration.
- Maintain a clear, up-to-date inventory of partnerships and integrations.
- Identify and pursue strategic integration opportunities that improve FMX marketability, retention, and revenue.
- Validate market demand and recruit design partners or test customers.
- Coordinate testing for FMX-sourced strategic integrations by recruiting FMX customers to participate in testing efforts.
- Run the same feasibility, partnership, sandbox access, delivery, and testing motion as customer-sourced work.
- Ensure integrations are supportable long-term with clear ownership, documentation, and governance.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales to package, enable, and launch integrations to the broader customer base.
- Create enablement materials such as positioning, one-pagers, FAQs, qualification guidance, and internal playbooks.
- Track partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline and other agreed metrics, and iterate on the results.
- Provide structured, proactive stakeholder updates with clear status, risks, decisions needed, and next steps.
Preferred Experience & Qualities
What are we looking for in this role?
- 3–7+ years of experience in partnerships, partner programs, ecosystem/channel, alliances, or technical account management, specifically involving the coordination of multiple stakeholders to drive complex deals to completion.
- A high level of integration and API comfort that enables you to read technical documentation and collaborate with Engineering to assess feasibility and scope (though direct engineering experience is not required).
- Strong SOW and scope discipline reflected in your comfort level with documenting and negotiating contract terms.
- Proven GTM collaboration skills demonstrated by a history of partnering with Sales and Marketing to create enablement materials, run campaigns, and support co-selling motions.
- Exceptional written communication characterized by the ability to write clear, structured, and scannable updates that drive decision-making and follow-through.
- Rigorous operational strength in tracking timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and financial terms across multiple concurrent partner threads.
- Expertise in stakeholder coordination and the ability to work across cross-functional teams with a high degree of accountability.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving that allows you to anticipate questions, clarify ambiguity early, and move quickly to remove blockers.
- Fluency with modern productivity tools, including an appetite for using AI and other software to increase speed and communicate more effectively.

The hiring process for this role:

- Phone screen with People Ops: A 30-minute conversation to review your background and experiences, discuss the culture at FMX, and ensure that you understand the general expectations for the role. Also, a great time for you to ask questions about compensation, benefits, etc.
- Hiring manager conversation: A 60-minute conversation with the hiring team to learn more about your background, career goals, and what you’re seeking in your next role. You’ll discuss experience building partner programs, managing integrations across the role’s three focus areas, and collaborating with Sales and Marketing on GTM efforts. This is also a great time for you to ask questions about the expectations for this role, team culture, etc.
- Take Home Assessment: Selected candidates will complete a brief at-home assessment as part of the hiring process. This will be a time‑boxed assessment designed to understand how you think, communicate, and solve problems in scenarios similar to what you would encounter in this role. After submitting the assessment, there may be a virtual call with the hiring team to discuss the contents of the assessment.
- Final Panel Interview: A 60-minute peer interview with cross‑functional stakeholders the role will work with regularly with questions for you from the team on your background, as well as time to discuss the day-to-day responsibilities and team culture.
- Offer & Onboarding: Candidates who receive an offer will be required to complete a background check prior to onboarding. New hires are also expected to work onsite at our Columbus, OH office during their first week to complete onboarding and connect with the team in person.

Compensation:
- This position is eligible for a base salary as well as a Company Performance Bonus. On target earnings for this position are expected to be $100,000-$130,000 annually.
