About the Role
We’re looking for a strategic Content Marketing Lead who can own our end-to-end content engine. They will turn insights, assets, and team contributions into a consistent, measurable growth system. You’ll collaborate with our SEO & AI Manager, social media contractor, product marketer, and outsourced writers to deliver content that attracts, educates, and converts.
This is not just a writing job. You’ll set the strategy, build the calendar, manage execution, and report on performance. You'll play a key role in ensuring content supports trial conversions, demand generation, and long-term brand affinity.
What You’ll Own
- Lead and manage Gymdesk’s entire content schedule: blog, video, reports, interviews, social, webinars
- Develop a strategic content calendar that aligns with SEO goals, outbound campaigns, and sales funnel needs
- Partner closely with our SEO & AI Manager to create content that performs in organic and AI-driven search
- Turn interviews, original research, and customer conversations into high-impact reports and assets
- Repurpose long-form content across formats
- Utilize tools like AirOps and Claude to accelerate research, idea development, and editorial operations
- Collaborate with outsourced writers and internal contributors, setting direction and editing for quality
- Direct our social media contractor on what to publish and when, ensuring aligned messaging
- Track content performance and adjust strategy based on what drives traffic, trials, and sales leads.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing, ideally within a fast-growing SaaS company
- You’ve led content strategy, not just execution and know how to connect it to business results
- You know how to shape ideas into narratives that resonate with gym/studio owners
- You care about performance and metrics, not just production
- Comfortable with AI tools like AirOps, Claude, ChatGPT, and excited to experiment with new ones
- Bonus: Familiarity with martial arts industry

Now we need a strategic leader to make it all work together. You’ll own the content engine, align it to business goals, and take it to the next level. This role is about acceleration. This individual will be turning good content into great performance, turning assets into outcomes, and ensuring content becomes a consistent, measurable driver of growth across Gymdesk.
