Job Description

We've a 12 month fixed term opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to work on innovative projects that focus on user-centric solutions. About the role

As a Product Manager, you'll report directly to the Head of Product and play a crucial role in managing the outcomes of a cross-functional agile team. This team, comprising developers and designers, will rely on your leadership from opportunity and discovery, definition and development to go-to-market and benefits realisation. This is a hands-on role and we're looking for someone who can effectively manage their roadmap, and contribute to continually evolving how we work to ensure we are focusing on delivering value for our customers and driving innovation in our industry.

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract based in Melbourne CBD. It's a hybrid role with 2-3 days in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer needs and identify potential opportunities for future product features and enhancement of existing products and feature sets

  • Own and consistently maintain your product family strategy, horizons and roadmap to ensure your portfolio maintains the competitive edge required to deliver consistent market value and ROI

  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the business domain, applying problem-solving skills to address critical and complex issues to ensure the product evolves in line with the company strategy

  • Effectively communicate the product vision, needs, and priorities to the product delivery team(s) and commercial members of the business

  • Manage stakeholder expectations through communication plans and updates

  • Provide a detailed understanding of functional capabilities and limitations, user scenarios, and business value derived from a product initiative

  • Work closely with the Head of Product and other Product Managers to shape and execute the Product Development Framework practice at IntelligenceBank, by defining and refining processes and behaviours that improve the team’s ability to discover and deliver Product outcomes.

Qualifications

About you:

We're looking for someone who is customer-centric and focused on solving problems for our customers through product capabilities. To be successful in this role you'll have a curious mindset with a passion for solving technical challenges, be open to embracing ideas from others and have strong commercial nous.   • Well-versed in all aspects of LEAN Agile practices and have experience working across multiple cross-functional teams.

  • Ideally, you're familiar with martech tools and platforms (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, customer data platforms)

  • Previous experience in advertising or marketing industry via an agency or client side is a huge bonus

  • Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and gather requirements effectively

  • Leadership qualities to drive cross-functional teams towards common goals and inspire innovation.

  • Time-management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively

  • Comfortable with shifting priorities in a scale-up environment

  • Strong bias for action and decision-making grounded in data and research
