The Role

At Magma, our Customer Success team is where the action happens - we’re closest to our users and obsessed with helping them get maximum value from the product. We’re looking for a driven, curious, and highly organised person who thrives on juggling multiple projects, building relationships, and making things happen.

As our first Customer Success Manager in Germany, you won’t just join the journey - you’ll help shape it. Your primary mission is to ensure Magma is successfully adopted in our partner schools and districts. You will support teachers, students, and school leaders (local authorities and private school organisations) in getting the most out of the platform. You’ll build strong, lasting relationships at every level, ensuring high engagement and satisfaction over time.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where no two days look the same. You’ll own the entire customer journey, from onboarding to long-term adoption, lead engaging training sessions (both virtual and in-person), and regularly step into classrooms to see Magma in action. You’ll also work across systems, customer data, and technical operations - including user management, rostering, troubleshooting, and analysing usage data to drive decisions and improve customer outcomes. You’ll be the voice of our customers internally, turning insights into action and helping shape the future of the product. If you love building while flying, this role is for you.

Requirements
  • A proven track record in Customer Success or other customer-facing roles

  • Fluent in German (native or C1-C2) and English

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills - confidence in engaging educators and stakeholders to drive long-term success

  • Ready to work hard, move fast, and grow fast

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Nice to have: startup experience and a background in education or pedagogy
