Motivity is seeking two .Net software developers to add to our growing team. We welcome developers from outside the US and can accommodate time zone differences. We do not offer visa sponsorship as you can work from anywhere.

About Us

At Motivity, we're a mission-driven team of clinicians, researchers, and engineers dedicated to improving outcomes for individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. We build a comprehensive, all-in-one platform for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) providers that streamlines everything from clinical data collection to practice management. Our engineering culture is built on a deep respect for the clinicians we serve, a passion for solving complex problems, and a commitment to shipping high-quality, reliable software that truly makes a difference.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and versatile Software Developer to join our small, growing team of engineers. This is more than just a coding role; you will be a key contributor to the entire development lifecycle, tackling full-stack challenges across the frontend, backend, and infrastructure. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with the team on architecture, design, and code reviews while dedicating the majority of your time to hands-on development. If you are driven to build robust applications, solve complex problems, and directly contribute to a product that improves lives, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Full-Stack Development: Tackle development challenges across our entire technology stack, contributing to the frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
  • Architect & Design: Collaborate with your team on critical architecture, design decisions, and code reviews to ensure we build scalable and maintainable systems.
  • Problem Solving: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring our platform remains reliable for the clinicians and providers who depend on it.
  • Collaborate & Ship: Work closely with business stakeholders and clinical product leaders to ensure the features you build meet the pressing needs of our users.
  • Provide Support: Offer technical support as needed to both our customers and third-party vendors, acting as a key technical resource.

What You'll Bring

  • Development Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Strong Coding Skills: Proficiency in a modern programming language and a passion for writing clean, efficient code.
  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a remote team environment.
  • Independent Drive: The ability to work independently and take ownership of your projects from concept to completion.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with F# or other functional programming languages (our software is full-stack F#).
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, particularly Microsoft Orleans.
  • Knowledge of Websharper.
  • Experience with cloud computing, especially Microsoft Azure.

Why Join Us?

Join us and build a product that truly helps the helpers. We're a thriving, mission-driven startup and this is your chance to get on board. As part of our talented and driven international team, you'll enjoy the flexibility of a fully remote company, working from wherever you're most comfortable. We support our team with competitive benefits, including comprehensive health care, retirement benefits, parental leave, and an open time-off policy, because we believe in taking care of the people who take care of our mission.
