Rebrandly is the world's most trusted link management platform, processing 3 billion user interactions per month for enterprise brands like MetLife, NBA, Volvo, Zillow, and Versace. This is your opportunity to own the financial operations for a profitable, high-growth martech SaaS business.

We've built something financially remarkable: a profitable, stable SaaS business serving 1.3 million users globally with predictable subscription revenue and an industry-leading 99.99% platform uptime. Our 100,000 developers rely on our API daily, and we've achieved a 39% increase in customer clicks year-over-year – demonstrating strong unit economics and product-market fit. Backed by Five Elms Capital and operating seamlessly across the US and European regions, we combine financial discipline with the resources and strategic support to scale efficiently.

What makes this an exceptional opportunity isn't just our scale – it's our operational and technical sophistication. Our enterprise-grade infrastructure includes HIPAA and SOC 2 Type 2 certifications, requiring rigorous compliance frameworks and controls. As we compete directly against market leaders and win, you'll build the financial systems and processes that support sustainable, efficient growth in a complex, multi-entity SaaS environment.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Controller to be a core leader in our lean finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is a critical, hands-on position responsible for the complete financial operations of our US-headquartered, SaaS business, which has international operations in Ireland and Italy.

The ideal candidate will combine deep technical accounting expertise with exceptional operational efficiency, particularly with Netsuite and integrated systems like Stripe Billing. This is an exceptional opportunity for a detail-oriented leader to manage global accounting operations, ensure technical compliance, and drive process improvements in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This role is fully remote in the US.

Compensation: $160,000 to $180,000/year USD

What You’ll Do

1. Global Accounting & Financial Operations

  • Financial Reporting & Month-End Close: Own the entire monthly close process, ensuring a timely and accurate closing of the books. This includes creating and maintaining the close calendar, preparing and approving significant journal entries and reconciliations, performing detailed flux analysis, and preparing month-end financial statements.
  • Technical Accounting: Ensure compliance with US GAAP and maintain strong technical accounting knowledge to properly handle complex areas like SaaS revenue recognition for multi-year contracts.

    • Cash & Banking: Manage bank reconciliations, and implement controls over banking procedures.

2. Subscription Billing & Systems Mastery

  • System Ownership: Serve as the power-user for Netsuite, ensuring its integrity and optimal use across all entities.
  • Customer Billing: Manage the integration and flow between Netsuite and Stripe Billing. This includes reviewing and approving recurring subscription billing cycles, verifying accurate application of price increases, and ensuring proper revenue deferrals for prepaid subscriptions.
  • Metrics & Analysis: Analyze monthly billing metrics and ensure the financial system infrastructure supports efficient, scalable operations.

3. Global Compliance, Payroll & Statutory Reporting

  • Global Payroll Management: Own and manage the full cycle of global payroll for employees verifying tax calculations and managing multi-country benefit tax implications.
  • Statutory Reporting: Oversee and coordinate the statutory reporting for US and foreign entities, working closely with local accountants/advisors to ensure compliance with local accounting standards and timely filing.

4. Strategic Support & Process Improvement

  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify, design, and implement process improvements across all accounting functions to increase efficiency and scalability in a lean team environment.
  • Financial Planning: Assist the CFO with key FP&A activities, including budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and detailed variance analysis.
  • Corporate Projects: Project manage the annual insurance renewal process (D&O, Cyber, etc.), coordinating with brokers and presenting recommendations to the executive team.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. CPA/ACCA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
