About Rebrandly

We're a Customer Interaction Tracking Platform serving 1.5M customers worldwide—from Sequoia to Oracle to Toyota. We process 3 billion clicks every month across 1 billion+ active links, with 100k+ developers using our API.

We're fully remote, SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA compliant, and maintain 99.99% uptime. Our 8-person engineering team builds the infrastructure that makes this scale possible—serverless-first on AWS, AI-forward in approach.

Why Rebrandly

  • Actual impact: A small, agile team; your work matters immediately
  • Technical challenge: Billions of data points, 99.99% uptime requirements
  • Modern tools: Claude Code access, AI-forward development
  • Autonomy: Own your work, make decisions, ship fast
  • Fully remote: Work from anywhere in eligible countries (Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Poland)
  • Professional development budget: Keep learning
  • Flexible hours: Async-first culture

The Challenge

You'll architect serverless backend systems, design scalable APIs, and help us turn massive datasets into real-time insights. The goal: take what once took users hours and make it happen in seconds. Small team. Big impact. Real problems.

What You'll Build

  • High-availability systems that handle billions of requests without breaking
  • AI-powered features that transform how customers interact with their data
  • Serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS) that scales automatically
  • Payment and subscription systems for enterprise customers
  • Real-time analytics that turn hours of analysis into seconds

You'll work directly with product and design, own entire features end-to-end, and have actual influence on product direction.

What We're Looking For

Must have:

  • 5+ years building production software
  • Strong Node.js and Python skills (async patterns, serverless architecture)
  • Previous experience working in SaaS companies with an understanding of SaaS-specific challenges and business needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (in English) with proven ability to work effectively in remote distributed teams
  • Deep AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS)
  • Database optimization experience (SQL and NoSQL)
  • CI/CD and automated testing know-how
  • Remote work experience; you communicate clearly in writing and can work autonomously
  • SRE mindset—monitoring, alerting, and automated failover are second nature

Not Required, but great if you also have:

  • Familiarity with AWS security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Experience with real-time analytics processing.
  • Experience with C#
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Background in high-traffic consumer applications.
  • An understanding of networking areas such as URL shortening, redirection logic, and efficient link routing to complement the platform's functionality is appreciated.

We're serverless-first, which means you focus on building features, not managing infrastructure. We iterate fast, ship constantly, and solve real technical problems at scale.

Equal Opportunity Employer: We hire based on talent, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
