Role: Senior Brand and Marketing Specialist

Office: Edenvale or Stellenbosch

Work Environment: Hybrid but leaning towards mostly in-office (at least 4 days a week with flexibility) and an expectancy to be mostly in-office during the first 3-6 months of onboarding

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Brand and Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who is both strategic and hands-on – passionate about building brand equity, creating impactful content, and driving campaigns that generate demand and engagement.

Working with our Marketing, Product Development, Sales and Customer Success teams, this role has reach across Skynamo and ensures brand and campaign consistency and feedback loops from which we can learn and adapt with our target market.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Developing and executing brand strategies that enhance Skynamo’s visibility and positioning.
  • Maintaining brand consistency across all touchpoints including digital, print, product, and events.
  • Managing the content calendar and lead the development of blogs, case studies, social posts, videos, and campaign assets.
  • Coordinating and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns in collaboration with Product Marketing and Sales.
  • Planning and managing Skynamo’s presence at events, trade shows, and webinars.
  • Managing Public Relations with external agencies.
  • Working with external vendors and agencies on creative and campaign execution.
  • Monitoring and reporting on brand awareness, engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure messaging and brand alignment.

Lead Generation & Growth

  • We attract the right type of leads who fit our ideal customer profile
  • Customers become advocates who can effectively refer new prospects

Digital Performance & Reach

  • Website visitors spend more time on key pages and engage with our content
  • Social media followers actively engage with and share our content

Field Marketing

  • Trade show conversations start with "I've heard of you" rather than "What do you do?"

Requirements (What We Need)

  • 5–8 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in SaaS or technology.
  • Strong brand, content, and marketing experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and campaigns end-to-end.
  • Proficiency in tools like HubSpot, WordPress, Google Analytics, and design tools (Canva or Adobe).
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, and design teams.
