About the Role
Skynamo is looking for an energetic, ambitious, consultative sales professional who wants to smash targets and be well rewarded in a dynamic software-as-a-service (SaaS) environment. Our typical customers are wholesalers, manufacturers and/or distributors with outside sales teams who can benefit from our mobile CRM and ordering app, Skynamo.
As an SDR at Skynamo, being responsible for generating outbound leads, you are the first person to create “wow” moments with prospective clients, identifying key areas where Skynamo can help their businesses thrive. Being the first person to make contact with prospective clients, you will also be able to provide information and feedback to the business about what is working and what is not working in the market.
You will be partnering with Skynamo Account Executives to develop go-to-market strategies, working under general direction reporting to the Sales Manager.
This position focuses primarily on cold calling prospects during standard business hours. As part of our expanding international reach, there will be occasional opportunities to engage with USA and UK prospects, which may require some flexibility in working hours to accommodate different time zones.
Your Day-to-Day
Prospecting and Outreach
- Conducting outbound prospecting primarily via cold calls, but also via personalised emails, social media (LinkedIn), and other channels.
- Developing and maintaining a consistent pipeline of potential customers through targeted research and lead generation strategies.
- Identifying key decision-makers and influencers within target organisations.
Lead Qualification
- Engaging with leads in meaningful conversations to understand their needs, challenges, and fit for the company's solutions.
- Using qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT) to determine lead quality.
- Converting marketing-generated and self-sourced leads into sales-qualified opportunities (SQOs).
Appointment Setting
- Scheduling discovery or demo meetings between qualified leads and the Account Executive or Sales team.
- Ensuring smooth handoff of leads by providing detailed notes and context to the sales team.
CRM and Data Management
- Accurately documenting all outreach activities, lead information, and conversations in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce & Outreach).
- Maintaining up-to-date records of prospect interactions and statuses to ensure proper pipeline visibility and reporting.
Collaboration and Feedback
- Working closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales Operations to refine messaging, targeting, and lead quality.
- Providing feedback to marketing on lead sources and campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborating with other SDRs to share best practices and improve team performance.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Meeting or exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs) such as outbound calls, emails sent, meetings booked, and SQOs generated.
- Participating in regular sales meetings, training, and performance reviews.

- Outbound-generated pipeline becomes a predictable, scalable revenue engine that drives new customer acquisition
- Monthly recurring revenue (MRR) growth accelerates as you consistently feed high-quality leads into the sales funnel

Requirements (What We Need)
- 1+ years of experience in cold calling, Sales Development or Inside Sales
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
- Self-starter with proven success in outbound and inbound lead generation in competitive and results-driven environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of outbound and inbound technologies and tools
- Proficiency with sales technology tools including CRM (Salesforce.com, SalesLoft and Outreach experience is advantageous), sales engagement platforms and Microsoft Office
