We’re looking for an experienced People Ops Generalist to help us build and scale an outstanding employee experience at our remote-first SaaS startup. You’ll be responsible for key aspects of our People strategy, including global onboarding, HRIS administration (Gusto/Deel), remote culture, and compliance.
What You’ll Do:
Recruiting & Onboarding
• Help manage the recruitment process, collaborating with hiring managers to craft compelling job descriptions and sourcing strategies.
• Design and lead engaging onboarding programs that quickly get employees up to speed, streamline benefits enrollment, and showcase Opus1 as a fantastic place to work.
• Manage benefits enrollment and ensure smooth integrations with HRIS tools like Deel and Gusto.
Culture & Engagement
• Drive remote-first culture initiatives, including virtual team-building events, async communication practices, and employee engagement programs.
• Support internal teams worldwide by addressing HR-related questions such as payroll, benefits, and other compliance topics.
HR Administration & Compliance
• Develop and maintain remote-friendly People policies and procedures to ensure global compliance with employment laws.
• Administer HR systems (e.g., Deel), benefits, and compensation programs, leveraging metrics to drive strategic decisions and optimize processes.
• Stay ahead of employment laws and compliance requirements for a distributed workforce.
What We’re Looking for:
• 3+ years of HR/People Operations experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (Tech, SaaS, or startups preferred).
• Experience with scaling remote teams and managing global HR processes.
• Familiarity with modern HR software (Deel, Lever, Lattice, etc.).
• Strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a proven ability to build trust across all teams and job levels.
• A storytelling approach to aligning HR initiatives with broader business goals.
